Revell 1/72 De Havilland DH C-6 Twin Otter

The Twin Otter is a very versatile aircraft that can be used on wheels, skids or floats for transport, reconnaissance or rescue missions. In November 1964 building commenced on an initial 5 aircraft and on 20th May 1965 the first Twin Otter made its maiden flight. Production of the 100 series started in May 1966. 115 machines were built, until they were superseded by the 200 series with an extended forward cone. Early in 1969 the improved 300 series went into production. These machines had 652 hp P6A-27 engines, which increased the gross weight to a maximum of 5670 kg.
