This exceptional submersible can take three passengers down to a depth of slightly over 21,000 feet (6500 meters). Once it is at the bottom, powerful lights, cameras and robotic manipulator allow researchers to observe and interact with a piece of the world few will ever see. This kit features a new motor and horizontal stabilizer parts to match updates made to the research vessel made in 2012.
